An organization that focuses on progress and uniting the African American community
Afro-Am is a community with some of the brightest minds looking to not only create a strong community but establishing a place for all students to enjoy themselves. Afro-Am is well known for causing changes in the community and hosting many exciting programs for all student... freshmen to super-duper seniors. Afro-Am is planning to have one great year during 2006-07 with the start of BSO and Welcome Black Week.
Afro-Am true purpose is to promote the cultural heritage of African American people. This effort will be to continually define the interaction between the academic, social, and political lives of African American students attending Oklahoma State University
