Welcome to the Oklahoma State University Asian American Student Association website, '06-'07. We welcome anyone interested in joining to help us plan events for increasing Asian American awareness, sharing culture, or just having fun =). Come to any event and say hi, or maybe even ask to be a member. We're going to have a lot of fun this year, so check out the events page for new happenings.

Hope you all did well on finals! This site will not be updated until the new page is up, starting 5/4.
A lot of progress is being made, but it is all background stuff you don't see. Just you wait.

Congrats to all new officers! We hope you all will do well in the coming year.

In the fall of 1997, in response to the absence of a student organization at Oklahoma State University that encompassed all Asian American students, the Asian American Student Association (AASA) was founded. Since then, a sense of community developed among the Asian Pacific American students on campus. Through AASA, APA students developed a sense of empowerment and awareness of their culture and heritage. AASA promotes Asian culture and awareness while bringing to the forefront, issues concerning Asian Americans on campus. AASA provides a great environment for meeting other students and faculty members of similar background while fostering leadership and service skills.
