Frontier Lanes, 5pm, September 15. Lots of people missed out on some weekend fun. Some lucky strikes and some dancing across lanes, good times. Maybe more of you all will come out next time.

We won several basketball games, but we didn't make it. On the other hand, we won dodgeball! Thank you to the players who made it happen, and to the fans who showed up to cheer.

Thank you all the dancers, the drummer, the singer, Vietnamese Student Association, and everyone who attended. It was a great show, keep up the good work. Maybe we can get even more people to come out to the show, and maybe we'll have more food for them all. Sorry the Indian Student Association could not perform, they had an emergency. If anyone has suggestions for Lunar Moon Festival next year, please contact us, or maybe even come to the next meeting.

Yay, we had turkey, some mashed potatoes, some noodles, some wraps, some eggs, and lots of pies. We had a lot of people and we had good eats. Thank you all for bringing stuff to share.

Our trip to UNT in Denton, Texas was a blast. Conferences, networking, and hotel fun. We hope we can make it next year, and that it will be even better

March 30th-April 1st. www.vascon3.org VASCON is the Vietnamese-American Student Conference, with an expected attendance of several hundred undergraduate and graduate students from around the nation. The conference seeks to inspire and empower its participants so that they leave with the motivation to contribute to and advance the Vietnamese-American community. VASCON brings together the most ardent leaders of the Vietnamese-American community in fields ranging from entertainment to activism. Through educational seminars and interactive workshops and discussions, participants are given a crash course on the issues affecting the Vietnamese-American community today as well as ample time to network with fellow student leaders. Speakers, facilitators, and entertainers are also made accessible for participants to speak with on a more intimate level.
We had lots of fun in Austin. Both the workshops and entertainment was good. Some photos can be found at www.andresphotos.com

Eliot Chang, a Chinese-American comedian who is coming to OSU on Monday, April 16 at 7-9pm in the Wes Watkins Ceneter Auditorium. We gave otu a lot of coconut cookie things. Hopefully it worked and people came to next meeting.

There was a lot of pizza and Samson gave us lots of info about what they had to offer.
