      OSUBS meeting
  Our next meeting will be Wednesday, 3 October, 5:30-7pm in 110 LSE. we will provide pizza  but please bring your own beverage. We'll also talk about upcoming events.  Dr. Tyrl will be presenting briefly over 'Linnaeus' Birthday'.

     Nature Day
 

We will have two tables at Sanborn Lake, in Stillwater. There is a sign-up sheet in the botany office (104 LSE) for those of you interested in participating in Nature Day.  We'll be conducting a plant walk, plant scavenger hunt, and a mini botany lesson (leaf and fruit types).Please sign-up for one or more time slots, which are one hour each.  If you can only make it to part of a time slot, please go ahead and sign-up for the times you can make.  We need at least one person to work our table at all times, but more than one person at the table per time slot would be more fun, if possible.

   OAS Technical Meeting, Tulsa

The OAS Fall Technical Meeting is Friday, 2 November 2007, at Tulsa Community College South Campus. The botany department and OSUBS have partnered to sponsor transportation to the meeting and OSUBS will sponsor regitration costs for anyone interested in attending. Please add your name to the sign-up sheet in the botany office (104 LSE) as soon as possible if you will be attending. Departure times from Stillwater and Tulsa will be determined closer to 2 Nov, and will be communicated via email.   Dr. Tom Cason is the guest speaker for BOT 4400/5110 from Kingston Environmental Services. Dr. Tom Cason is also OSU MS/PhD alumnus (with Paul Richardson).   ONPS Indoor Outing Registration
  

Just to clarify,  the registration form (available in 104 LSE) and fee for the ONPS Indoor Outing must be mailed to a third party (listed on the registration form) by Friday, 1 February.  If you're interested in attending this spring's ONPS Indoor Outing, please come by 104 LSE as soon as possible to pick up a registration form and sign up for transportation.
