We are excited to announce the 25th Earth Day celebration on the OSU campus, to be held Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008, on the Edmond Low Library Lawn.  This years theme is Combating Climate Change.  The first Earth Day in 1970 marked the symbolic birth of our modern environmental movement.  Ever since, Earth Day has grown into a global celebration of our interdependent relationship with our planets ecosystems.

Every year, the OSU Earth Festival brings together people of all walks of life for one common goal, to celebrate our planet.  Earth Fest is filled with organizations, businesses, and student groups exhibiting their appreciation for the environment.  We are very excited as each year the festival grows.  Last year approximately 50 booths contributed and over 1,300 people attended.  We want to invite you to help us celebrate this year in any way you can!  Together we will educate the public about environmental concerns, demonstrate ways to lessen our burden on the environment, and encourage participation in these issues.
