ECO-OSU is Oklahoma State University's environmental group. We are an action oriented club, maintaining that people can make a difference in their world and are responsible for their actions within it. We encourage the growth of students as active participants in the representative democracy of this nation. We have meetings every other week. We send out announcements for meetings and events, so please join us on Facebook.com.
ECO-Pickup is a privately run company that offers curbside pickup of everything that is recyclable in Stillwater, for a small monthly fee, typically $10 to $20 per month. The fee is different depending on how many times you need your recyclables picked up per month. Although Eco-Pickup was started 7 years ago by professors Kimball and Caniglia and some of their students, it will be more effectively run by someone who doesn't have a full-time university job. Her name is Emily, and she has recently moved here from Colorado to breathe some life into Eco-Pickup. The new website was not up yet last time I checked, but it is at www.ecopickup.com.
