1. Chelsea versus Manchester United
at 1:30pm on Wed, May 21 at SHAMROCK ROOM
FREE SNACKS + POPS + T-SHIRTS! COME AND WATCH the game
with crazy soccer fans.
The Chelsea vs. Man U game watch was over packed yesterday at
Shamrock Room with about 100 people. iSo provided free
snacks, pops and t-shirts for viewers. We are really
sorry that we did not estimate that we had that many
people coming.
However, we had an exciting afternoon to watch the great
game. It was exciting when Man U’s fans yelled when Man
U had the ball, and vice versa.
Next time, we will organize to watch the final game of
Euro cup at a bigger place.
2. Summer Basketball Anyone?
Drake Tan, the Sports Coordinator of the ISO, is interested
in establishing an informal organized basketball league.
At this moment, it is unclear if there will be enough
participants to play 3 on 3, 4 on 4, or a full 5 on 5
game. Any students interested should contact Drake at
sportsiso@gmail.com and leave a name, e-mail and phone
number. If you have a team, just leave the name of the
captain and the number of players.
Games will be played within the time frame of 5.30 p.m to 9
p.m, Monday thru Friday with weekend games a possibility
should the need arise. Right now, the games will be held
beginning in mid June to the end of July. If there are
not enough players, Drake may still organize a weekly
pick-up game for those who want to meet new people or
enjoy playing basketball.
This event is still in the infant stages of planning and more
information will be provided when available. Please

3. BBQ Party - Friday, June 6, 6pm, Brumley Center(at
the corner of Farm Road and Orchard Street)
We will have FREE turkey franks, burgers, chips and
drinks. We also have music and GAMES for everyone. Feel
free to bring any sport or games that you want to play
such as Frisbee, badminton, soccer, football or
whatever! Please share with us the Fun.
