"For nearly 15 years, Son Venezuela has brought the thrill of live latin music to fans all over the United States. Based out of Kansas City, the band entertains thousands of people annually, performing over 75 packed shows, parties, and festivals every year. Winners of Pitch Weekly's 'Best Latin Act' many times over, Son Venezuela has proven itself to be a dedicated part of the Midwest's latin music scene.
"The band takes a pan-global approach to its music, incorporating classic salsa, cumbia, merengue, and tamborera alongside modern latin and American styles. Much of the breadth of the band's sound comes from the diverse nature of Son Venezuela's members; the band enjoys membership from all over the globe, spanning from Venezuela to the Dominican Republic, and throughout Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United States."
